So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade was the extremely anticipated expansion to World of Warcraft in its prime! It would introduce two new races, the Draenei and the Blood elves and open the way to Outland to confront Illidan and the Illidari. Development on this began shortly after the release of World of Warcraft. The most complete zones are the two Quel'thalas zones, who started development before AQ40 was released.

Hmmm...
To do:
Delve into this and uncover all the juicy stuff.

General Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Play the Alpha and fill this in.
  • Build 5610 has some interface problem that prevents the game from properly loading character models, forcing you to be a cube.

This is fixed by updating the build with the day-one patch to 5665.

  • Draenei are a recent addition replacing the originally intended Pandaren race. Their starting area and the Exodar are far more unfinished than the Blood elven start areas.

  • This is a build dated August 16th 2006. Almost 6 months before the release of the Expansion. This means that many areas are unfinished or otherwise incomplete.

Gameplay Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Add differences between spell values.
