So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

You can match at least three tiles, use magic, train mounts by fighting them, and capture enemies to learn their spells. You never know how much imagination is put into a game.

Unused Graphics

Red Arrow

PuzzleQuestDS-Arrow.png

A simple red arrow, present in Assets/Tex16/arrow. It might have been used when you waited your turn, but a white arrow is used for that in the final game.

Placeholder Character Image

PuzzleQuestDS-Empty.png

An image present in Assets/Portraits/empty which was likely used by developers when there was no image for a given character or enemy.

Early Tavern Icon

PuzzleQuestDS-Tavern.png

A very small, early version of the tavern man is present in Assets/Textures/Tavern. This might have been a place to see all the rumors available, as the image size matches the city sprites.

Ring

PuzzleQuestDS-Ring.png

This odd ring is placed in three locations in the game's files, including Assets/Tex32/ring. It seems the palette is incorrect. Weirdly, this is the only image located in Tex32.
