Gomoku is an ancient board game, devised by an unsung creator in long-ago China. Pente is a modern variant, devised by a dishwasher at a pizza place in 1977 Oklahoma.

Quintette simulates both, but avoids naming the one trademarked by Parker Brothers.

Unused Dialog Box

Ironically, the only obvious unimplemented feature is this dialog itself: it lacks a corresponding ALRT or DLOG resource to call the DITL information seen here in ResEdit. The depicted creature is not from anywhere in-game, but rather the Dragon magazine comic What's New with Phil & Dixie.

Nearly identical dialogs exist in PGA Tour Golf and Inherit the Earth, which share Robert McNally as a developer.
