Hmmm...
To do:
  • There are 4 revisions of the game (2.5, 2.6, and 2.7, plus 3.0 for the English version). What each of the revisions change?
  • The English version of the game removes the Savanna name from the FC RX-7 and Efini name from the FD RX-7.

Taito's first Side by Side game, featuring four Japanese manufacturers with each having one high-end and low-end JDM legends, and tracks themed after seasons.

Unused Audio

Sound ID 03H is the "Side by Side" title call without the "Welcome to..." portion. This would later be used in Side by Side Special.

Free Camera

SideBySide-freecamera.png

Present in the game is a free camera mode which can be enabled in MAME by toggling the Dev Debug dipswitch on. While in-game, the steering wheel turns the camera left and right and the gas and brake pedals move the camera forwards and backwards respectively.
