...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Title Screen

Aside from the name change, the version number was reduced from 2.2 to 1.0 (seemingly at the request of the publisher, as suggested by the Planet Blupi source code).

The name change was not all-encompassing, however, as there are several references to "Blupi" that remain in the Eggbert release.

Training Mission

The Training level was modified for the Eggbert release. Some slime blocks were rearranged around the 2nd treasure chest.

Judging by the level's "last modified" date being in 2004 (three years after the Blupi release), this may have been a mistake by a developer due to overzealous auto-saving, as well as the lack of an undo function in the level editor.

Exit Screen

The Blupi release features an outro screen when quitting the game from the menu. This was omitted from the Eggbert release, which immediately exits when the button is clicked. The corresponding background image, "bye.blp", was removed as well.

Likely due to this change, the developers added a small line of text to the file select screen to credit themselves.

String Table

The "missions" from Speedy Blupi and Speedy Eggbert were renamed to "levels" in Speedy Blupi 2 (which led to the typo "Design your own levelss"). This change was seemingly reverted for Speedy Eggbert 2, which uses the same "mission" terminology as Speedy Blupi and Speedy Eggbert.
