Notes

Unused Chart Data

We are the ONE ~bokura wa hitotsu~

Of the charts that can be extracted from this game's filesystem, We are the ONE ~bokura wa hitotsu~‍ 's are the first, as their ID (aba2) is the first when they are arranged in alphabetical order. With that said, this song has two unused charts, labeled aba2_d.bin (A dummy slot, previously used for Donderful! charts in Taiko no Tatsujin 2), and aba2_b.bin (Meant for Battle charts, though it goes unused, as the Normal/Futsuu chart is used for that difficulty in this song). They are placeholder charts, consisting of 100 measures of Don (red) notes on every beat at roughly 240 BPM (counting offset compensations, the chart's average BPM is 238.6379).

Moonlight densetsu

Moonlight densetsu‍ 's Hard/Muzukashii (smoon_h.bin) and Extreme/Oni (smoon_m.bin) charts contain unseen Advanced Branch sections on the 2P side, starting at measure 25 and lasting 6 measures. They don't match any of the charts used by the final game, nor any charts used by its previous appearance in Taiko no Tatsujin 3:

Debug Functions

Entering the code below boots the game to a debug menu and toggles a "debug pause". The former contains "warps" to many of the game's screens, while the latter contains several content viewers, much like the previous three instalmments. The controls are independent of controller.

Revisional Differences

Two versions of Taiko no Tatsujin: Wakuwaku Anime Matsuri are known to exist, known as v1.00 and v2.00. Apart from the executable, which has unknown differences, there's only one change. The graphic of the initial loading screen, which displays an advisory message regarding the use of the Tatacon controller was slightly tweaked to enhance readability, by enhancing the font, darkening the background, and changing the color of the box containing the message from cyan to black.
