VRAM content

Hello, just wondering if it's okay to post stuff about things that gets loaded in VRAM but belongs to another level. --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 16:40, 27 May 2015 (EDT)

Differences in earlier versions

The content in the Differences in earlier versions section seems like it is referring ot prerelease versions, since it refers to altered mechanics and no revision details are given. If it is prelease, then it doesn't belong on this page, though it could potentially be placed in a prerelease page. --Grandta13 (talk) 08:58, 20 August 2015 (EDT)

I sourced that information from a bunch of prerelease images I found here [[1]]. --Psxdriverplayer (talk) 09:51, 20 August 2015 (EDT)

Possible bug in NTSC-U/C regional difference This game is annoying with its scoring system

So. I played the NTSC-U/C version using my disc copy with my real PS1 hardware, but no matter the conditions, I couldn't get the cheat upon completing mission 10 on 007 difficulty and having 120000 or more points. Even with the American console I have. Any experts of the game in the American region? (And yes, I have all cheats unlocked with the English PAL version. Haven't completed French PAL version yet.) --PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT. (talk) 18:09, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

Huh. Killing 25 enemies + having 170000 or higher score did this trick. I was under the impression that beating highest pre-set score does it (it does with the other score based cheat unlocks) but that 120000 is not enough. Need to check PAL/UK to be sure - don't remember it being a pain there.

Cheat unlocks that are confirmed for PAL/UK:

  • Mission 4, 14:59 or faster, Agent or 007 difficulty = POWER GOONS
  • Mission 5, 120000 or higher score, Agent or 007 difficulty = STEALTHY BOND
  • Mission 7, 160000 or higher score, Agent or 007 difficulty = POWER GUNS
  • Mission 9, 6:59 or faster, 007 difficulty = ALL WEAPONS
  • Mission 10, 120000 or higher score, 007 difficulty = INFINITE AMMO (this needs to be confirmed as I'm presuming it is that - NTSC/U needs 25 enemies and 170000 or higher score)
  • Mission 11, 9:59 or faster, 007 difficulty = INVINCIBILITY

Never playing this stuff again after this. Perhaps not for a while, but this scoring system is annoying. Mission 10 has been correct all along, but if you play it with Agent first and set a highest high score, that gives you trouble later on - and that's what I've been doing due to habits. --PSXDRIVERPLAYER OUT.
