Things that are not mentioned

Those chibi richter sprites are loaded overtop of richter's main sprites during screen transitions - http://i.imgur.com/ExXk6gV.png

The unused dragon boss is loaded only in the first area of Stage 1 - http://i.imgur.com/cJkSMrd.png - I had made some guesstimates on the bosses appearance years ago - http://i.imgur.com/v1jKTtC.png - But I think I like the one in this page better.

There is a dummied out subweapon (01) - Up+Attack does nothing, using item crash gives an effect similar to the Axe with glitchy graphics, and costs 0 hearts.--Setz (talk) 15:33, 7 May 2015 (EDT)

What else is not mentioned is the varying degrees of censorship on the Werewolf when he reverts back into a human and dies. In the Virtual Console release as well as releases based on the Dracula X Chronicles, they added a black strip over his crotch, as seen here and here respectively. There is also no mention of how the title screen was updated for DXC in keeping with its first ever localization. On top of said localization, they had to reorchestrate the cutscenes due to having lost the original masters for the music, at the same time replacing some sound effects (footsteps, wolves howling, crickets, fabric tearing) and even changing how Shaft arrives in the pre-stage 6 cutscene (originally there was a warping sound before Dracula asks "Do you [Annette] not agree?". This was not used in DXC as Shaft simply appears). Some voice clips are also replaced by higher quality audio in DXC (mainly Richter's shouts, Maria's calls, Death's laughter and dialogue, Dracula, Shaft).--Tailikku (talk) 13:19, 6 October 2023 (UTC)

There's no reason we should still be using the Japanese title of Rondo of Blood anymore, considering that the game hasn't been region locked or Japan exclusive since 2007. Really no different from when Seiken Densetsu 3 become Trials of Mana internationally. --Mantis (talk) 04:41, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
