Article Naming

I created this article as Tsumi to Batsu: Hoshi no Keishousha because the article for the N64 version of Animal Crossing/Animal Forest is named Doubutsu no Mori, too. I was going by the logic of "original release on original system is Japan-only -> only a port/remake was released in the west -> article about original release should have its title in Japanese", although this is arguable considering SIN AND PUNISHMENT is used right on the title screen, box, etc. In addition, the Editing help doesn't say anything about the language of an article title, unless I didn't see it (in which case, someone hit me and move the article). --Xdaniel 10:20, 29 August 2010 (EDT)

I guess things are a bit inconsistent around here. Mega Man & Bass is in the same situation but uses the English title. Adventure Island 4 was never officially released outside of Japan but uses an unofficial English title. And Hebereke uses the Japanese title even though there was an official European release called Ufouria. --Rabidabid 15:44, 29 August 2010 (EDT)
This is something which has seen an official English release, though! VC version is just running in an emulator. Any objections to my renaming this article?--Afti 20:30, 5 December 2011 (EST)
I guess that's enough of a window to say pretty conclusively that there are no objections, lol. "Sin & Punishment" (no subtitle) is the title the game has been released and marketed under, so that's what I went with. --Afti (talk) 08:42, 4 May 2017 (EDT)
Sorry if I had to revive this talk, page, but I had to fix the redirect on Hebereke, it needs to become a desambiguation page. --GuiMiTomo (talk) 18:59, 28 August 2024 (UTC)
