Korean regional difference

There actually is a minor gameplay difference in the Korean version for whatever reason. And you can only see it with a bug.

When you play the game normally, as you approach Eastern Palace, the sage Osfala will come out of the palace in a minor cutscene. But if you do a speedrunning glitch known as the "power glove skip", this cutscene won't play.

Except... for whatever reason, it plays in the Korean version, even if you do the "power glove skip". -- Myria (talk) 04:58, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Maimai versus Maiamai

In the non-English versions, the collectable snails are named "Maimai", a Japanese word for "snail". (Compare Rockman X2's "Cristar Mymine".) In the English version, they're named "Maiamai" instead. This seems to be done for meter: it lets the English translation of Mother Maimai's dialogue have cute rhymes like "by-and-by". -- Myria (talk) 04:58, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
