SOMETIMES I SEE A TEXT BOX AND I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSSDFGFFDHFGDJGGFSHGDFH
This page sucks.
If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome.
Specifically: the page is a mess
This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Properly section each area (unused areas, unused modes, etc).
  • Go into more detail about:

-The Sandbox

-The Avatar showcase

-The Ai Trainer

-The Clubs

-The Boat Tour

-The Hidden Levels

-The Dev Videos

-And First person Walking

-Possibly more

  • Document Oct 17, 2006 prototype,it has some differences

Unfinished Island

There is an unfinished island map which can found by teleporting to it. It is unknown what it is made for.

Secret Island

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Pictures of the island

Accessed by driving into "Eden game icon" in the northern Makapu'u Beach at around 60 kph or 40 mph, which is the island seen in the intro.

This only exists in the Xbox 360 and Windows versions. It can be accessed on PSP/PS2 via modding, but it is unfinished.

Hidden Vehicles

If any vehicles are missing any game files, the game will use the "Eden" default car/bike placeholer model instead.

Cut Vehicles

Remember when YT had a little indifferent face when a video went down? TCRF remembers.
This page or section has one or more broken YouTube links.
Please find an archived version of the video(s) or a suitable replacement.

Various vehicles are referenced in the game's files in the Windows version, including unused slots for the Xbox 360-exclusive Volume 6 pack vehicles. Most of these are accessible in game by editing the "GameXenon.ini" file on the early Xbox 360 build.

Hmmm...
To do:
This section needs at least one screenshot per car, if possible.
  • Audi A3 V6 'N'
  • Brabus 61S (Mercedes-Benz SLK 6.1 S capacity increase appears in the PS2 and PSP releases, although without Brabus branding)
  • Brabus B55S (Mercedes-Benz SLK B 55 S appears in the PS2 and PSP releases, although without Brabus branding)
  • Chevrolet Cobalt SS
  • Chevrolet Corvette C6 "Show 'N' Go"
  • Chevrolet Corvette C2 1963
  • Hennessey Viper SRT10 Venom 650R
  • Hennessey Viper SRT10 Venom 800 Twin Turbo
  • Hennessey Viper SRT10 Venom 1000 Twin Turbo
  • Jaguar XKR Convertible
  • Lexus IS-F
  • Maserati GranTurismo Coupe
  • Mazda MX-5 Roadster (NC)
  • Mazda RX-8 Coupe
  • Pontiac GTO "The Judge"
  • Wiesmann GT

Here you can see cut cars are completely driveable, although not all have been pictured (yet) The cars are completely functioning, complete with gauges, sound, models, etc.

Car Showcase Mode

There is a cut mod called "Car Showcase" In this mode you can rotate the camera, zoom in and out and turn on/off the lights of any car in the game in a showcase environment. So far, it has only been accessible via the early Xbox360 version, and it is rather broken.

Early Intro Cinematic

In the Xbox 360 Build, an early version of the intro cinematic can be found. noticeable differences are that it has a heavy green tint in the chase sequence, although not much more is known.
