The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is an enhanced port of the original game on Wii lodged at the start of the official Zelda timeline. The game now runs at 60 FPS, includes the ability to use more conventional controls and vastly speeds up the pacing overall thanks to faster texts and heavily reduced Fi interventions.

Unused Graphics

To do: gxTextrs.tpl on the root of the romfs has textures leftover from the GameCube SDK.

Inside HomeButton2/HomeBtnIcon.brtex can be found a leftover restricted Home Menu button icon from the Wii.

Development Text

To do: Check all Wii versions + languages to see if this file is present. Already checked: JP rev 0, US rev 2 English).

The "0-Common" text archives for each language now have an extra MSBT file called "000-Test". The lowest-numbered one in the Wii versions is "001-Action". However, most of the entries are empty. A similar piece of text to TEST_FontCheck_01/TEST_FontCheck_02 exists in Pikmin 4.
