Treasure Report was Bandai Namco's attempt to replicate the tremendous success of the Professor Layton series, to no avail. Its sales bombed, and it wasn't released outside Japan, much like the other Layton clones from Konami and Level-5 themselves.

The game itself is a puzzle game starring two reporters from modern London on a quest for a treasure, with 118 puzzles (including the bonus ones) and Hint Coins...err, AP Coins, popping from everywhere. Some animated cutscenes, but also brilliant writing from the Xenogears script writers, complement the game.
