Twisted Metal 4 is, you guessed it, the fourth game in the Twisted Metal series. This time, Sweet Tooth overthrows Calypso and takes over the Twisted Metal contest. Also, Rob Zombie himself is playable in the game furthering the insanity of Twisted Metal.

Like its predecessor, it was developed and published by 989 Studios, before the original developers of the series returned in the next title, Twisted Metal: Black. Also, like its predecessor, it received mediocre reviews.

Placeholder Car Description Images

Several placeholder graphics can be found on the disc from Twisted Metal III. It's likely the unlockable characters were going to have descriptions to them.

Oddities

Inconsistent Models In Character-Bios and Ending FMVS

Characters, like Orbital and Calypso, have different models in their ending FMVS than their bios. Orbital in the bio screen has a black suit while in his ending FMV has a white and red color scheme. Calypso has a unique model for the bio and intro while his ending FMV reuses his Twisted Metal III model.
