vivid/stasis is a free rhythm game with classic 4-key gameplay, featuring "bumper notes" that cover two lanes on either side.

Unused Levels/Charts

Regular Difficulties of 00

Through Boundary Shatter, only Shatter and Slumpage difficulties are available for the song 00; however, chart files for difficulties Opening, Middle, and Finale can be found in the Charts/00 folder, which are inaccessible in-game without file replacement.

Hmmm...
To do:
Attach {{download}} for recreated file for convenience

The .stats file for Middle, containing info like note count and checksum, is missing, thus it must be created manually to make the chart recognizable for the game.

Text Format Chart Files

There are text-based chart files with the extension .vsc, rather than the commonly used pre-compiled binary chart files with the extension .vsb. Four files of this kind can be found:

  • Charts/dracula/EVIL.vsc
  • Charts/desparola/SHATTER.vsc
  • Charts/wavetapper/OPENING.vsc.bak
  • Charts/wavetapper/FINALE.vsc.bak (probably created by a text editor while the chart is being edited)

Unused Videos

These can be found in the MOVIE folder.

testvideo.mp4

Appears to be a test video for the in-game video player. Oddly, this video is encoded in VP9 rather than the more common H.264.

testvideo-264.mp4

The same as testvideo.mp4, but encoded in H.264 rather than VP9.

testvideo-24.mp4

The reveal video of STARGAZERS, without the pixelization effects. It doesn't play when the song is unlocked in-game.

MY_GAY_MOVIE.mp4

Cutscene video for the 2023 April Fools event. Since the entry to the event was removed, the video is not used anymore, but the event song 00 is still playable in Boundary Shatter.

MY_TRANS_MOVIE.mp4

Cutscene video for the 2024 April Fools event. Since the entry to the event was removed, the video is not used anymore, but the event songs grode (DJ HOE SCARER REMIX) and grode (A-Saph Multigenre Remix) are still playable in Boundary Shatter.
