WWE 2K16 is the 2015 installment in the WWE 2K series. It is said to be considered a reboot to the game franchise, as it did bring back several features from older games such as Create An Arena, Create A Diva, and tons of new features such as "Hair Dye" for CAWs. That doesn't mean this game has its share of unused content, right? Right?! No, er... of course not!

Unused Graphics

Test Images

On the Windows version, there's a debug directory with face_photo and pr_data subdirectories containing many low-quality unused face photos and renders, as well as event logos. (The event logos are seemingly still frames of the videos actually used in the game)

Locked Moves

WWE 2K15 had a plethora amount of moves deleted on the PS4/XB1 side. Although 2K16 reanimated most of the deleted moves, some moves have been deleted from it that were formerly in 15 and earlier. Strangely, these can only be found in the PC version of the game, under the file "createmode.pac". That version did have moves deleted in the last gen versions, but no evidence of the moves found in the PC version can be found looking in that same file on the PS3/360 side. Note that the file only contains move SLOTS as well as names.

Most of the deleted moves contain no animation. Since these are dummied out, leaving just the name and value that contained the animation, this is to be expected. However, some moves still have animations, but they will freeze upon the animation ending. The file also contains slots for Hulk Hogan's taunts and comeback.
