hot dog (/ˌhɑtˈdɔɡ/, /ˌhɑtˈdɑɡ/) noun
1. a frankfurter
2. a type of sandwich consisting of a frankfurter in a split roll, usually topped with mustard or relish
3. a show-off; someone who performs risky maneuvers to attract attention, especially in sports

Silly name aside, there's not a whole lot that can be said about this obscure shoot-'em-up, except for maybe the fact it was developed in Japan but exclusively released in Korea.

Unused Graphic

Within the sprite ROM mp8.u54, starting from offset 0xE8280 (which is directly after the staff roll graphics) is an unused copyright graphic which reads "1995 Center Tech Inc". Both Marble (the game's developer) and Center Tech seem to have been run by the same person, Rikio Jinushi; this string hints that Center Tech may have been a predecessor company to Marble.

Developer Credit

Found starting from 0x328E of the program CPU is an even earlier copyright string for Center Tech, indicating the game had been in development for quite some time before being released.
