Released in 2015, Ori and the Blind Forest is a platforming-focused metroidvania developed by Moon Studios. The team's development process was very iterative, scrapping anything that isn't as fun as the rest of the game, and as a result, many things were cut and changed throughout its development.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • More information and documentation of the Debug Menu (screenshots?)
  • Document revisional differences between the original release and Definitive Edition

Debug Menu

Upon booting up, the game checks for the file moonDebugPC.txt in the folder C:\temp\. If it's successful, pressing the 8 key (or R3 on an Xbox controller) will open up a debug menu. This will allow several features, such as maxing out the player's stats, saving and loading at any time, use of the game's abilities, or enable debug text.
