This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Pacific Drive is a single-player first-person survival driving game that focuses on exploring (and ultimately escaping) the Olympic Exclusion Zone, gathering materials to upgrade your form of transportation, the Remnant, an object with mysterious properties that has taken the shape of an old station wagon, and unravelling the mysterious ARDA organisation.

Unused Maps

Test_Driving

A developer-only map, which is possible to load into the game with a smidge of modding. The map contains all types of equipment, from panels to wheels and doors as well as additional car abilities, some of which are tied to items which are not possible to obtain through normal means. The map also contains a lot of the mechanics which appear in the game, such as Circuit Gates, Glittering Boulders, and the Left-Right anomaly. Another feature of the map is the 'Slopeland' which consists of, of course, slopes, all of which have different physics materials attached to them to see how the car would handle in the real game. If the player enters the area with ARC Energy in the ARC Device, they can open a Gateway to successfully exit the map, and go back to the Garage (the base of operations), while retaining the equipment taken from the map.

Test_Driving_Natural

A 'natural' version of the previous map. The only difference is the fact that the map uses geometry from Sierram, a map from 'The Remnant Experiment', the 2nd mission of the game. All of the geometry except for the base floor and some train track pieces are unloaded. A Gateway can be opened in this location.
