This page details prerelease information and/or media for Rocky Legends.

Rocky Legends was announced April 6th 2004. It was released in America on September 28th 2004 and in Europe in October 2004.

Early Matches

These are some matches for the Xbox version from May 2004. They have a lot of differences.

Drago vs Lang

  • The health meter doesn't flash when hit.
  • There is no x3 text under the Super text.
  • There is no bruise flash on-screen when hit by the Super Punch Combo.
  • The replay screen worked very differently. It looks very similar to the Fight Night Round games replay screen.
  • There is no Rocky Legends logo during the replay.
  • There is no store replay text during the replay.

Reid vs Gunn

  • Both boxers have America in their bio cards during their introductions. It's changed to USA in the final game.
  • Rocky: Eye of The Tiger text can be seen during their introductions.
  • Both boxers have different introduction animations.
  • The camerawork for their introductions is very different.

Official Trailer

This is a trailer for the PlayStation 2 version from June 9th 2004 according to IGN.

  • Ludmilla Drago can be seen at 0:28. It looks like she was originally supposed to be playable. She was left unused in the game's files but can be made playable through cheat devices such as GameShark or by using a hex editor.

Tommy Gunn Official Trailer

This trailer focuses on Tommy Gunn, the bad guy from Rocky V. It's from August 11th 2004 according to IGN. It's pretty much the final game but still has some differences that can be seen in previous footage.

  • America can be seen in Tommy's bio card.
  • The health bar doesn't flash when hit.
