Armogohma's behavior in this build is completely different than the final. Armoghoma chases Link through a dark tunnel, instead of facing him in a traditional boss arena at the end of the Temple of Time. The original concept turned up in Spirit Tracks, during the fights with the Rocktite enemy.

Gameplay
Toaru Village
Translated to Japanese, the title means "a certain village". As the name suggests, this mode consists of exploring a village. Link isn't dressed in his familiar dark green, nor is he wearing a hat. His left arm is wrapped in cloth, like a falconer. He doesn't have a sword or shield, which allows me to predict that there probably aren't going to be any battles in this section. Before beginning exploration of the village, there's a lesson on the controls. They feel similar to Ocarina of Time. The side step and back jump are both alive and well. Both D-Up and D-Down bring up the item screen. There are 8 spots for items, arranged in a simple circle configuration. After I spend some time learning the controls, I can start exploring for real. In the village, I find some cow-like creatures, as well as chickens. Maybe I'll be able to talk with them after turning into a wolf... [2]
Horse Battle
Next, I was able to enjoy some mounted combat. This mode allows players to savour the refreshing feeling of multiple opponents attacking you on horseback. You can dash 5 times in succession. The number of dashes you have left is written at the bottom of the screen, and if you wait for a set period of time after dashing, the number will go back up. The real highlight is the one-to-one combat on the bridge. I'll leave out the details to avoid spoiling it, but I can say that the battle brings something fresh to the series, allowing players to enjoy the fine differences between offence and defence. [3]
Forest Temple
In this mode, players have fun with dungeon combat and puzzle solving. After the title is displayed, Link appears in a green-blanketed dungeon that's characteristic of a forest temple. He's clad in his familiar dark green. Seeing Link in these clothes really gives me the impression that he's grown up. Using the C Stick allows me to examine every corner of my surroundings and decide where I need to go. I find myself in a pinch, surrounded by two enemies and about to die, so I panic and drink a Red Potion. I get excited on finding a treasure chest, and hearing the familiar jingle gives me goosebumps... [4]
Temple Boss

On to the game itself: what can you tell us about the setting for this new Zelda game?
Aonuma: At the very beginning, Link is a cowboy living in [a small rural community called] Taoru Village - not in [the usual Zelda kingdom of] Hyrule. Hyrule does exist, but it's a long way away. Actually, they raise cows in Taoru to sell to the kingdom of Hyrule. The two places have a friendly relationship with one another.
There are several other villages, and every year the kingdom of Hyrule gathers them all together for a kind of festival where all the villages can communicate with each other. Each year, the chief of the village is supposed to attend the festival, but this year, the chief orders the young man [Link] to go instead.
On the way to the festival, Link is going to encounter some kind of accident, which eventually leads him to the main adventure. [-06-EGM-Aonuma-[z%2705]&m=html]
