This build does not a feature a title screen and instead skips to Fresh.
General Differences
At this point, quite a few major things such as Girlfriend are not present.
- The window is not even named "Friday Night Funkin" at this point, instead being called "ld47".
- Girlfriend is not present in this build.
- The health bar is not present in this build.
- Boyfriend doesn't have sprites for missing notes yet.
- Hold notes look different in this build; their trails are duplicates of themselves instead of extensions of the ends.

- The combo system from the Ludum Dare prototype isn't present yet; instead, there's a completely different system not present in later builds that shows how many notes you hit after every verse.
- Held notes are counted as multiple notes instead of a single note.
- There's a bug where Boyfriend gets stuck in his singing pose after hitting a note. Boyfriend doing a V-sign when the combo is shown is meant to remedy this, but it doesn't always work.
- The window for hitting notes late seems to be more strict.
- If you press 8, an early version of the animation debug menu appears, showing all of Daddy Dearest's animations.
- If you press 9, an early version of the animation debug menu appears, showing all of Boyfriend's animations.
- There is no background in this version.

- The camera is remarkably closer than in later builds.
- There is no pause menu or any way to pause the game in fact, the only way to pause is by clicking out of the window.
- The Game Over screen is not present in this build.
- Pressing R doesn't kill Boyfriend yet.
- Mapping works completely differently in this build. Here, the location of the notes on the chart is controlled by a series of images instead of the .json file.
- The debug menu is absent.
Fresh
- The song + vocals are a little quieter than they are in later versions.
- Boyfriend still does his V-sign from "Bopeebo" here, unlike the final game.
- The last notes of the beatboxing verses are held notes.
- The chorus has a few different notes.
- The last section of the chart is missing.
- After the song ends, the instrumental keeps playing.
