Hmmm...
To do:
  • Look for more differences.

This seemingly complete prototype of the cancelled US version is, in a lot of ways, a fusion of the Japanese and Scandinavian versions.

Intro Screen

The intro sequence has a few differences compared to the other versions.

The "Authentic Entertainment" screen is absent, and the "Gimmick!" (or in this case, "Mr. Gimmick") and "© 1992 Sunsoft" screens have been pushed back due to its absence. In its place at the end is the "Licensed by Nintendo" screen from the Scandinavian version.

Lives

The game starts you with four lives like the Japanese version.

Sound

The music is identical to the Scandinavian version (aside from being converted to 60Hz), but the sound effects are different, sounding much closer to the Japanese version.
