This game was stuffed away in a cardboard box and found 30 years later in a garage
This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.

Robotech: Crystal Dreams was a rather promising, but alas, very ambitious 3D space combat simulator made by the relatively small GameTek. It suffered from a long development cycle, accentuated by lack of funding, publishers pulling out, and an understaffed development team. GameTek went bankrupt before the game could be completed, disappointing many gamers. Fortunately, one of the developers got hold of an N64 dev kit and was able to dump the unfinished game for all to enjoy.

You can find extensive information on the game here.

Placeholder Voices

These two sound files are the last two sounds programmed in the game, being listed in the Sound Test as sounds 27 and 28 respectively. However, it's obvious they were meant to be used as placeholders for the title voice-overs. Even these don't get used during the title sequence, as it had yet to be completed when development shut down.
