Unused Enemies

All of the unused enemies are variations of existing ones in-game. It seems they made them ready in case the battle map designers decided to implement them.

Hilda's Shadow

Apparently, there was going to be a tuning section where a Shadow version of Hilda appears, however, the actual Tuning battle maps of Hilda doesn't feature a shadow version of herself, unlike the other witches. The sprite also has all the basic animations, which would otherwise be unused if the enemy appeared on stage, as Hilda moves via warping across the map, rendering the jump and walking animation useless. There also seems to be its corresponding character graphic to be used in the dialog sections and when selecting an enemy to attack.

Shadow Enemies

Most enemies in the game include a shadow version of themselves that appear on the tuning section of the witches. However, there are two in which they aren't featured in any of the present tuning battle maps. These are the flying one-eyed enemy and the golems. These two might have been used in the tuning sections of Hilda, as she is known to spawn the normal variety of the Eyed monsters.

The file chara_resource.str in the RomFS folder param contains the shadow monsters display names at the end of the file, which reveals that the shadow one-eyed enemy is labeled 'The Starer' and the shadow golem is labeled 'The Protector'.
