Some basic discussion on Selph, the deleted boss. A quick Google search also reveals that the fans conducted an interview with some of the head designers, and apparently Selph related to Jung Theory but was removed during production since it was too complex for the game (which was "perfect enough without it"). Hacking the game shows the theme "Know Thyself!", which would have been for the deleted boss and is also available in the sound test for the Wii sequel. The data for Selph is barely in the game, only marked and the boss data for Wizeman completely written over it (along with what may have been the original level for Selph, not going by the two playable characters). There's also apparently a pole of some kind that's left over from the Selph boss battle, but there's very little on that I could find. I think it's worth mentioning that there was once another boss that was overwritten by duplicate Wizeman data.

Another thing I want to mention - there's a prototype script in NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams that refers to extended scenes and some different gameplay (mostly the idea of it being more of a prequel than a sequel, as it was originally the start of NiGHTS' rebellion). Of course, I'd have to find it. It's documented...somewhere. LinkTheLefty 16:08, 4 April 2012 (EDT)

- Also, someone found sound files that are literally marked "UNUSED" within the game: http://www.nightsintodreams.com/forum/topic/4270-sound-ripping/ LinkTheLefty 13:36, 7 April 2012 (EDT)
