Present among the disc's files is cdi_sb - a variant of the used file cdi_sbnd - which contains the code and strings for a debugging mode. It would've been controlled using a keyboard and a CD-i dev kit.
Its strings can be sorted into three distinct chunks. The first one contains debug strings for various aspects of the game, such as the board and intro screen, for example.

The second chunk focuses on the game engine and it interacting with the CD-i.
