Image Captions

So you've registered seemingly just to add captions to pages. There is one problem with this, however. From the Guidelines page:

Moreover, do NOT edit an article just to add snarky/witty captions to an image, and especially don't edit an article to change ones that are already there. The former is completely unhelpful (whether an image has a caption or not should be up to the one who added it, not someone who comes along and sees it later), while the latter is just as pointless, with the added effect of being extremely rude, as if to suggest "I'm funnier than you". These such useless edits will always be promptly reverted.

Please cease these needless edits and contribute in a more legit way, or you will be blocked. I hate to be so harsh, but this is a frequent, recurring problem here. -YK YK-sig.png 15:26, 27 December 2011 (EST)
