Level Select
A level select screen can be accessed by pressing Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down, Down using the D-Pad at the main menu. Scrolling to the bottom of the main menu reveals a Cheats option. The level select itself consists of four pages, and can be navigated by pressing Left and Right on the D-Pad.

Cheat Menu
In order to activate the cheat menu, you must first activate the level select cheat. After it's activated, press C-Left, C-Right, C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right, C-Up, C-Down at the title screen. If you want to take the lazy route, use one of these GameShark codes to add the cheat menu to the pause screen.

Widescreen Mode
A hidden cheat that changes the aspect ratio to 16:9 can be activated like the cheat menu cheat. Press Left, Right, Up, Down at the main menu. You will hear a sound if done correctly. Now activate the second part by pressing Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down.

Version Differences
- Before each stage and bonus stage, the title of the level and a piece of artwork is shown. In the PlayStation version, each art piece is different; on the N64 version it just shows a generic jungle background.
- The PlayStation version has animated cutscenes before each level.
