  • The copyright date on Sutte Hakkun GB was updated, as was the trademark symbol, but the wizard was
removed from the title screen, with Hakkun laying on the cloud as opposed to standing behind it.
  • The sound option is set to Stereo by default in Sutte Hakkun GB, instead of Mono.
  • Story introduction cutscenes were added, and stage select was made available from the start as opposed to having to complete each stage to unlock stage select for that stage.

The pause menu is all in English in Sutte Hakkun, and had fancy text for PAUSE, but the options are all in Japanese in Sutte Hakkun GB and display PAUSE in a much simpler form, with the top layer of the border moved to the top, and Hakkun was moved slightly closer to the absorbed color queue.
