Game Genie Code for 30 Lives

So the game genie code for 30 lives on the NA version apparently also causes a 99 lives selection to appear in the options menu. If this is the case, can it be determined if this is just a coincidental oddity/side effect to the code or possibly a pre-release leftover? Magazine preview shots of the game show the players having up to 99 lives.Emjeeman (talk) 14:26, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
