Heated and Shocking gift passwords

Does anybody know if the (region-centric) passwords to get them were actually officially ever revealed in and outside of Japan?--Torchickens 17:31, 6 July 2011 (EDT)

Arceus and other unreleased Diamond/Pearl Pokemon are on the disc.

I'm not a huge Poke-fan so forgive me if I missed the release of Arceus and the other hidden Pokemon from the Diamond/Pearl game; but just in case they are still unreleased, my little sis and I were able to use them on Battle Revolution a few years ago. We were able to fight each other in a versus game, but were not permitted to use them online in any way. I think this would be a very cool addition to add to the P:BR page. I haven't yet learned how to format the pages here, so if someone cares to add it to the PBR page, be my guest..

Just hack the items into Diamond/Pearl on the DS, win Arceus and others, then use them on P:BR.

  • You missed their release, yes. Arceus can be considered used, as it was given away in an event and is tradeable with all Gen IV games. People were subsequently allowed to use Arceus online. All Generation IV pokémon were released, and the only ones that can't be used are alternate forms that aren't in this game (preassumbly. It'd be quite a find if they actually were), such as Platinum's Origin Giratina. --ReimuHakurei 20:29, 27 March 2012 (EDT)

Shiny Arceus model

After a quick visit to the models resource, I found the files for Arceus' model, and wouldn't ya know it, it contained the files for its shiny textures. If anyone is good at taking screenshots of models, here is a link to the files: https://www.models-resource.com/wii/pokemonbattlerevolution/model/5834/ (I'll see what I can do in blender) --Xwasp (talk) 23:03, 11 April 2017 (EDT)

Widescreen Oddity?

While messing about in Dolphin, I noticed that the US version runs in widescreen but the JP version does not, despite both being run under the proper widescreen setting in the emulated Wii Menu. To do: test the PAL version, test on real system. --SapphireFlame (talk) 03:45, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

The game itself doesn't support it (everything's designed for a 4:3 aspect ratio based on testing by JMC47); this applies to all Japanese releases (rev 0, rev 1, and rev 2). I'm not sure why it's like that though when the other releases support it, even though the later Japanese releases are fine (it's also not clear why there are multiple Japanese releases but only one US and one PAL release). Dolphin does have a special configuration to mark it as not supporting widescreen, though (beforehand it would end up getting stretched, if I recall correctly). --Pokechu22 (talk) 03:58, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
