Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, commonly referred to as THPS3, is the third installment of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series, notable for being the first PlayStation 2 game to offer online play, and the last Nintendo 64 game to be released in North America.

If you like to gamble, I tell you I'm your man! You win some, lose some, all the same to me. The pleasure is to play, makes no difference what you say. I don't share your greed, the only card I need is the Ace of Spades. The Ace of Spades!

Hmmm...
To do:
Prototype over at Hidden Palace.

Level Previews

A set of level preview images done in a more cartoony style not seen elsewhere in the game. Notably, one of these represents the cut Paris level.

Loading Screens

Loading screens for Rio, Skater Island, Tokyo and Downhill but without the overlaid text. The render used for Rio uses a different angle as well.

An additional unused variant of the Downhill loading screen, with the text overlaid on a blue background saying "secret area".

Multiple copies of this generic loading screen with filenames seemingly corresponding with the multiplayer modes, which use the loading screen for the level selected.

Character Icons

Hmmm...
To do:
See if anything else remains of the other characters and if they can be made playable.

Four character select icons left over from the previous game. Bob Burnquist and Spider-Man were not included in this game, neither was McSqueeb, the alternate 80's Tony Hawk. Burnquist's character models and textures were also copied over from the previous game.

Placeholders

There are eight copies of this placeholder image, one for each of the level previews seen above.

s2video seems to be a leftover from the previous game, though the image of the same name in that game is different.

Two images of unknown purpose.

Leftovers

The leftovers from the first game that were present in the second game remain here as well, minus the level specific loading screens. The placeholder deck graphics, the unused gap menu graphic and the demo leftovers also remain.

Other leftovers from the previous game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 featured a demo for Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX which could be accessed from the options. Amusingly, that one was also developed by Shaba.
