This game is defunct. Do note the game no longer works at all without modifications. This is most likely due to the game's servers being shut down. As a result, further official developments with the game are unlikely to happen.

Animal Crossing Plaza is an app designed around the interaction of the Animal Crossing community. Using the app, you can store photos you've taken for Animal Crossing: New Leaf as well as participate in community polls.

The app was short-lived, however, being discontinued a year after it released. Any online functionalities the app once featured no longer work thanks to Miiverse closing down.
