Unused Audio

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Audio files are placeholders for now

Intro

This line was supposed to be heard at the end of the game's intro, when Agent 47 goes inside the confession booth. His mouth can be seen moving but does not actually say anything.

The Gontranno Sanctuary

Confession Session

Five voice lines have been removed from the confession session between Agent 47 and Father Vittorio.

File:Placeholder.ogg (???) the burden from your heart, I know your sins will be forgiven.
File:Placeholder.ogg I gave what I had.
File:Placeholder.ogg Well blessed is he who considers the poor. Your troubled life is over. You have found peace and forgiveness here.
File:Placeholder.ogg You're the only one I've told.
File:Placeholder.ogg I understand my son. You are very special. In this place, your past is forgiven. And your secret safe. You're forgiven my son, go with God.

Training Advice

Diana was supposed to offer training advice to 47 after contacting the ICA. In the final game, Diana does prompt 47 to "run through basic routines" but you're not actually required to do anything. She would've followed up by an unused voice line, telling you to go to the garden shed.

File:Placeholder.ogg Begin by walking to the garden shed.
File:Placeholder.ogg Pick it up.
File:Placeholder.ogg Try it out.
File:Placeholder.ogg Not bad but you can do better, 47.
File:Placeholder.ogg Now you're getting the hang of it.
File:Placeholder.ogg I see you haven't forgotten your basic skills, 47.
File:Placeholder.ogg Very good.
File:Placeholder.ogg Excellent.
File:Placeholder.ogg Whenever you're ready, you can leave the training grounds for some real work. Press "Start" and choose "Start Mission".
File:Placeholder.ogg Whenever agency has information or mission details, your laptop will blink and beep.

Revisional Differences

The GameCube, PS2, Xbox and PC version, and the HD re-release, Steam, are censored; however, the version available on GOG.com is uncensored being the original 1.01 version. The censorship revolves around the Gurdwara missions: Temple City Ambush, The Death of Hannelore and Terminal Hospitality.

  • All instances of the word Gurdwara was removed from dialogue.
  • A racial slur was also removed, this being Agent Smith calling the Sikhs 'Towelheads' referring to the turbans that they wear.
  • Graphics depicting Indian gods were removed.
  • The medicine called PharmaShiva was renamed to MedicineTing and the face of the god Shiva was replaced with the cult leader's face, this also affects the posters.
  • Alcohol was also removed from the table.
  • The blue hat assassin in Temple City Ambush had a New York Yankees logo on his cap removed.
  • Female cult members were removed from Temple City Ambush.
