Main Menu

Loaded with the main menu graphics (offset 0x9FA04 of file SYSDATA.PAK) are "APPEND" and "ARCADE" text sprites, which are leftovers from the original Japanese home release of beatmania.

Expert Mode

Loaded with the Expert Mode background (offset 0xB4A44 of file SYSDATA.PAK) are background animation sprites of several songs absent from this game. Some Japanese text sprites are also loaded, but their original song is unknown.

Starting from offset 0xEA204 of SYSDATA.PAK is sprite data for the song DJ BATTLE, which is absent from this release. This also includes sprites of the special splash screen before starting the song.

Unused Music

While this game uses an extended version of Love's Theme of beatmania for the credits BGM, the original, shorter version can still be found in the game's files. In fact, it is the very first track found in MCHDATA.PAK.
