Hmmm...
To do:
  • Fix the keysounds
  • Convert the charts

A more or less direct port of the beatmania 3rdMIX arcade release to the PlayStation, only lacking four songs and Expert mode compared to the original. As an Append Disc, it requires the original beatmania disc to load. The Tyranny.

Unused Songs

Remember what was said about four songs lacking from this port? These four, which are composed of Beginning of Life, jam jam reggae (FUNKY jam Cookie mix), SKA a go go, and the special song DJ BATTLE, all have unused graphical and BGM data, and the former three have keysound and chart data unused as well.

The BGM can be found in MCHDATA.PAK, while the charts and keysounds are in BMDATA.PAK.

The known graphical data of the regular songs are between the Practice Mode sprites, which start at offset 0xE6A04 of the file SYSDATA.PAK, while DJ BATTLE's graphics can be found in 0xCFA04 of the same file.

Note: The chart and keysound numbers are based on order of extraction.
