Unused Areas

The Silicon Valley and Washington D.C. scenarios are present on the disc, but due to a programming oversight, they are not used. The issue lies on an incorrect entry count while parsing directory entries, which causes the last 2 entries in the scenarios directory to be ignored.

A workaround for the US version can be applied to list these scenarios, using the following GameShark codes:

Children Easter Egg

Pictures of what may be the developers' children can be found in the file 3D_FACES.DAT, located in \DATA\THREED. These pictures are part of an easter egg that is activated with the following steps:

  • Open and hide the chopper cockpit 4 times, leaving it open on the last time;
  • Afterwards, press L1, R2, L1, R2, L1, R2, L1, R2;

On the US version, both conditions are met when 0x8011f720 == 3 and 0x8012067c == 8.

Note that the chopper cheats are incorrect in most sources, they should be activated as follows:

  • Open chopper: L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2, L2, R2;
  • Hide chopper: L1, R1, L1, R1, L1, R1, L1, R1;
